Top three frats are very tough to get into, and most guys who get bids are already friends with at least a few brothers before rush or have legacy. The rest of the upper frats are also very competitive, but they rely less on pre-selected dudes and are more willing to talk to guys for the first time at rush. Mid and upper mid-frats don't generally have too many guys lined up from dirty rush, but nonetheless they can be competitive once people give up or get cut from upper frats. Lower middle and and below are safer options still, but cut those who don't fit the vibe. All the frats are selective to some degree and you'll have to work no matter where you rush. Don't expect to get a bid simply by showing up to a couple smokers. Actively engage brothers and demonstrate your best self. At the same time, don't be over the top and fake, cuz brothers will likely see through the persona
