Rush AXO or KD, they mix pretty well, but also are pretty laid back and genuine. AZD isn't bad, but the suspension destroyed their mixing schedule, so it won't be as fun of an experience (at least this year)

Why would mixer schedule be damaged? Are they still in trouble with Cornell or do you mean they will have a bad rep with frats because of suspension?

AXO, KD, and AEPhi filled much of the void left by the azd suspension and with the prospect of a weaker pc than in years past, it's gonna be tough for azd to regain mixers with solid middle and upper middle frats. They'll still have sig ep on lock for sure, but better than that will be difficult, at least for next semester

And while I totally agree that variety is important, at the end of the day mixing schedules are hyper political. Although most of the frat members would welcome the opportunity to mix with AZD, the fear of mixing with a lower tier frat off suspension is a big issue for social chairs

As a freshman about to rush who absolutely hates superficial frienships based on looks and money (which as far as I can tell is what core 4 is all about), the mid and bottom tiers are probably where I want to be. Don't hate on me for wanting to know more about my options besides Alpha Phi
