Don't try to fake it during rush to get into Core Four!
They like rich, attractive, confident party girls, mostly with connections to actives.
If you are a wallflower, no problem. Core Four is not for you. If you're a girl scout, no problem. Core Four is not for you. If you don't have money for travel and nice stuff, no problem. Core Four is not for you.
Don't rush for prestige. Rush for fit. Core Four isn't for everyone.
The likelihood that you end up as one of the exceptions to the above and get a bid to one of the Core Four is slim. Just being honest.

I’m in Core four, don’t fit any of the stereotypes and have really down to earth friends. Yeah some girls have obviously money but they can still be nice. I also have friends in a ton of other sororities, core four and not core four and there are girls in every one that are really nice and some that are not as nice. So just make your own judgement when you rush. Talk to the girls and feel the vibe

This post, which is sadly true, says more about frat boys than it does girls in the core four. Top frats have huge superiority complexes and when they think they are "better" than the sorority they are mixing with it shows with lack of attendance and overall lack of effort.

i’m in the “core four” and definitely don’t fit this description but I’ve met cool girls who are not superficial and I love it. Also have friends in lots of houses in and out of this “core four” and I think that title is stupid - anyone who cares about that term is superficial. If a guy is only interested in my because of “core four” he’s automatically unattractive to me
