fall cob vs re-rush in spring?

So I dropped out of rush last spring before bids because I was left with 2 houses I really didn't connect with or feel like were good fits for me. I'm wondering if I should do Fall COB or if I should just wait and re-rush in the spring? I liked a particular house a lot which is not doing COB, so spring rush would let me have another chance there, but I don't really know any girls in the house. I think I have a better chance at one of the COB sororities which I liked but wasn't in love with. However, I also had a subpar GPA last year so waiting for spring might be better. (I'm not sure how much GPA is considered during fall COB?) What's my best option? I just don't want to wait and go through spring rush again and end up without a bid at all, but if I get into the COB sorority it feels a little like settling, after I fell in love with a different house during rush...
