i was cut heavily. should i try cob?

I rushed in the spring and faced huge cuts early on, leaving me with only 1 house. I don't really care about tiers but I ended up dropping out of recruitment because I couldn't see myself at this house since my convos with all the sisters were awkward and I felt like I was only there because they needed to invite more girls to their parties.

I had a horrible start to freshman year GPA wise and I'm wondering if that could be part of the reason that I faced heavy cuts? Do sororities look at your GPA?

Basically I'm trying to figure out what I can improve to re-rush (good news is that GPA is way up since I got my act together for spring semester).

Should I try cob in the fall or re-rush in January?
