fall fraternity rush for transfers
by: TransferI am a transfer sophomore and want to be in a fraternity. I noticed that a lot of houses don't rush for the fall. Should I wait until spring/is it worth it for a sophomore to rush that late? I'm coming from a large state school and guys don't really have a social life without being in a fraternity. Is it the same at Cornell?

There's a list of all frats doing fall rush and the schedule on the IFC site under the fall recruitment tab.
I'd definitely recommend going to Meet the Greeks if you're a transfer just to get an idea of each house's vibe. Also wouldn't hurt to go a bunch of different places in ctown during o-week just to get a more candid look at what each house is like.

yeah wasn't sure about this, on the ifc website it has the list of only 25 that are doing fall. I think it may be different this year but who knows
