top fraternity rush

I will be coming to cornell Fall 2017 as a sophomore transfer and was wondering if that puts me at a disadvantage for getting a bid to a top tier fraternity? I know there is Fall recruitment for anyone except first years, is that the best option for a transfer?

it's definitely worth it to try fall rush 2017 when it comes. not all houses actually take fall pledge classes but IFC mandates that houses open up to consider taking kids, so you have a chance
