hi! so actually, a bunch of the chapters may end up qualifying for participation in COB. a chapter can do COB when they're under "chapter total," which is usually a good amount of the chapters at any given time. however, it's up to the chapters that are eligible to decide to do it, and even if they do, they could only be looking for a small handful of girls. I can't speak to "chances" of getting a bid through COB, especially for sophomores, but that it's definitely something to look into, as chapters can snag a lot of cool girls that may have not rushed or may have slipped through the cracks. once a chapters decides to participate in COB, chapter recruitment chairs reach out to girls individually for an informal recruitment process. if you want to make sure you are considered for COB, I would recommend sending your information to the current panhel VP of recruitment, because she can share your info with all of the recruitment chairs that decide to do COB this spring. hope this helps, and good luck!
