frat rush without knowing anyone

Ok so initially at Cornell I wasn't really interested in joining Greek life, I just liked to party and whatnot so I didn't make any "connections" with any guys in frats. Now I'm going into rush and plan to rush the top houses without knowing anyone in them. is it possible to get a bid from a top house without knowing anyone in there (top as in good house like DU, Sig Pi, DX). Has anyone been in my position and came out successful? If you have, any advice? Thanks

Thanks for answering the question. Why do girls want to be in core 4? It's a status thing which isn't entirely wrong to think about? Why did we want to go to Cornell over our state school? The opportunities? Get over yourself, not much of a difference graduating from here and a state school. It's a status thing. Why do most premeds want to be doctors? Why do kids want to go into banking? Why does someone want to drive a rolls Royce around?
