how many fraternities should you rush?

How many on north and west each generally? I feel like there won't be much time to effectively rush if you visit more than 4 houses.

Before 1st contacts you can visit as many as you want (6+ on north and west). After that you just have to keep visiting the ones that gave you a contact and some new houses that you didn't try.
