middle tier fraternities

There seem to be plenty of posts about the top tiers, but for those of us who aren't 100% suicide rushing, can someone describe either
Phi sig, Chi Phi, Chi Psi, FIJI, Pike, Sammy, or Llenroc?

being relatively isolated has lots of perks for sure

they don't get to hold parties in the house, but they still get to hold lots of brotherhood events there and formal pre games and after parties. Very restricted for the next year and a half. They always score a really good annex location like on Catherine this year, which is where they hold their mixers, the rush events and some good open parties. Very diverse mix of guys. Some odd ones, but what house doesn't have em. fun group but can sometimes have lack of unity with so many guys.

Got in trouble last year for hazing. Because of that they can't mix in their house for this year, and all of next year. It put a strain on sorority relations as they were social probation for almost an entire semester. Luckily got off of it in time for slopeday with KD. Typical middle tier house, but may be falling because of the hazing and mixer restrictions.

Fiji wont be able to throw registered events at the house for the next two or three semesters, but they apparently throw small stuff at the house anyways. they're known for their large and diverse brotherhood meaning that there isn't a single stereotype for them.their PC 16 is pretty popular on campus and with the sororities they mix with, and it will probably be the reason the house will be upper middle tier for at least the next year or two despite the issues they've been dealing with

Thanks fiji, but you won't stay upper middle. Will you fall below ZBT, probably not. But trying to say your PC 16 was amazing (which it really wasn't anything of note) and you won't fall, is pretty weak.

In general don't believe any of the dirt you read about houses here. In general the positives about all of the houses are true but since it's so close to rush you'll have people spread crap about other frats and sororities. With that said though, here's my opinion on the houses:
Chi Phi - Meathead mentality, which is good for some people and bad for others. A lot of sprint football and rugby kids are in that house. Chi Phi ≠ Middle Tier
Upper Middle: Sig Nu, Lambda, and Fiji (in no order. More of a person-by-person basis honestly. These three houses mix with the same sororities and cross-rush a lot so they get grouped together)
Sig Nu: Sig Nu has a lot of football team guys in the house and can be pretty low key, and they're pretty exclusive. Mixed bag of guys, pretty athletic house by nature of having so many football kids, but it can be overbearing sometimes. Their PC 16 was solid.
Lambda: They take some great guys, but they also take some guys who only the brothers seem to like. I personally like Lambda but some of my friends hate when we mix with them. Their new PC is solid but a mixed bag, some of the kids are super chill, but some of them are douchey.
Fiji: Huge house, biggest on campus I think, for better or for worse (lack of unity at times). Every brother is quirky in a way. Their PC 16 was definitely the best they've had in a while and is the reason they haven't and likely won't fall at all if they're only restricted for another two or three semesters.
