I've been researching sororities before rush and dg doesn't give any info on their website about how many formals and date nights they have in a year and all the other ones do. Does anyone know?

That's not true--no sorority has that information out and it changes year to year for every house depending on budget and schedules. General rule is one formal and one date night per semester, though sometimes houses have more and some have less.
