Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at Cornell University - CU 3.7 They don’t talk bad about each other which stands out. Only show up to mixers when like one pc is close with the frat. Really friendly and fun to see out

Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at Cornell University - CU 4.0 Get wayyy too much hate imho. They’re really fun at mixers and the sisters seem to really like each other. There isn’t cattiness among them as some of the other sororitys and they’re a solid group of girls. Excited for mixers next semester.

Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at Cornell University - CU 2.5 I have to agree with past posts, mixers are the biggest ways bonds are formed between new sisters. I say this because as a new member you all live in different dorms and don't necessarily see each other in class or on campus. Mixers are a big part of becoming sisters because its where you get to know each other and hang out initially. Pi Phi's attitude means that their bonds with frats and with each other really suffer, weakening the sisterhood. Plus their house it the furthest north of any sorority house and not close to any frats, this means a lot of older pcs aren't well connected to the new sisters leading to almost all the girls disaffiliating by senior year.

Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at Cornell University - CU 2.2 These girls get too much hate on here. I agree. A lot of them are very nice. This is a very athletic/STEM house. But, PNMS, keep in mind this is why they do get the hate they do: 1) They SOLELY show up to Chi Psi/Chi Phi mixers. They won't show up to any other mixers because they think they're "too cool" even though it's on their schedule. They won't even show up to Sig Pi mixers. I went to this event, and Sig Pi was pretty much empty. It felt bad for them. 2) They have been accused of writing really, really nasty things about girls in various sororities on here. It may not be true, but given what my friends have told me about how they have been treated by some girls in Pi Phi, it definitely COULD be true. Don't rush Pi Phi if: 1) You want more access to parties. Pi Phi will NOT provide you with that, as they very rarely go out. 2) If you want to make more friends. This is a VERY spacey pledge class. Going to mixers is how bonds are formed, and if these girls aren't doing that, bonds aren't being formed.

Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at Cornell University - CU 3.4 NO idea why the girls get so much hate on here... yes they've fallen and had some issues the last few years BUT the girls are genuine, kind, and sweet. Honestly I think a lot of the sisters join as a more casual commitment and that's why the sisterhood and mixer attendance aren't as strong as some other sororitys. Doesn't mean Pi Phi is a bad sorority, just means it's not quite the traditional experience.
