Phi Kappa Tau - ΦΚΤ Fraternity Ratings at CU

underrated house in my opinion, keep to themselves more than frats like pike or pikapp but throw some of the most fun parties i’ve been to. never really felt unsafe or weirded out by any brother i’ve met here, which is a big plus considering the types of kids in other houses these days. house is p small and out of the way but they make do. their newer classes are taking the lead in making the house more fun than it was before

there’s a lot of inaccurate rankings, both slandering and gassing up phi tau. reality is they’re a respectable mid house that mixes with mid sororities, simple as that. have thrown some of the best parties this year, and despite not having as strong a social schedule on paper as other mids their parties are still well-attended by ppl from all throughout greek life. brothers are generally well-liked and friendly, though some of their older guys are weird af. personally i’ve really liked their past few classes. did a great job w rush this sem, taking lots of people from PSK and some from Pike, but also lost a lot to pikapp. Big smoker house.

Phi Tau is a great fraternity with ties to a lot of upper mid sororities (Pi Phi, AZD). They have a below-average house on north but it doesn’t stop them from throwing down. Took a great pledge class this fall and took a lot of guys away from Pi Kapp.

The definition of bottom tier. Don't know why they are still here and their PC is a straight ass. The worst kind of guys with no good qualities. They wanna be like the better frats like Sig Nu but fail so bad. wish I was lying.

This brotherhood is strong, because they spend their evenings grinding greekrank together. They mix with pss and ddd mainly. Don’t have any good frat relations that I know of but correct me if I’m wrong ab that part

great group of guys with a diverse array of interests. def some nerds for sure, especially their older guys, but their younger classes are starting to shape the house’s vibe overall. considered a very safe house and have thrown a lot of good events since last year and followed up with a strong spring rush. despite being far from campus and having a small house they mix frequently w other mid-tier sororities and frats, can’t go wrong w Phi Tau.

did a good job in spring rush with a pretty big class and taking quality kids from other mids. mixing schedule not quite on par w some other houses yet but has the potential to get better after this rush

Phi Tau goes to show that grinding greek rank outweigh having one of the weirdest brotherhoods in the IFC. did horrendous this rush cycle and only have mixers scheduled with PSS and AXO. if you took a Phi Tau bid might as well drop now so that you can COB another house or rush next fall.

Lost all their best kids to pikapp and had to scramble in the later half of rush week by taking the kids they cut initially and the lambda/chi phi rejects to fill up their pc. Still did decent, taking a handful of kids from pike and psk. Def not top of mid anymore and nowhere close ‘upper mid’. Firmly mid. Let’s see what their class has to offer

Good guys, solid in every way. Women will feel safe there. No stereotype, lots of different interests and personalities. Worth knowing.
