If coordinated GreekRank grinding sessions and sweaty parties with freshmen and AXO are your thing, you’ll love Phi Tau. Just please don’t beg to get into the parties at other places you rushed when you realize what a mistake you’ve made by joining.

PKT is a solid mid frat. Other frats in its rank are PiKap, PSK, and Pike but Pike has been falling off recently. In the past Phi Tau has had some introverted pcs but the new classes are very involved. Their oweek and first couple of parties were solid, let’s see if they can keep the energy for rush. So far they’ve been mixing with AXO, KD, and PSK

Phi tau does the same thing every year - grinds a ton on GR before rush, hides away their weird brothers, and tricks an entire class into thinking they’re legit. The pledges all regret taking the bid at some point. If you think I’m lying, scroll down to rush season last year and look at the influx of obviously fake reviews there as well. The reviews directly below me are clearly fake too, Phi Tau’s parties are full of freshmen and their throwing space sucks. Below even PSK at this point, mixing about the same as Kappa Sig

NEW ON GREEKRANK
By: Greek rankPosted:
Went to their 5 way last night. It was hands down best party I’ve been to. I don’t care about rankings and all that, they have a great DJ who actually knows how to mix, lots of enthusiastic friends from outside the house, and great energy. I got to meet a bunch of the brothers, and they clearly have a tight brohood+truly nice people. Great group of sweethearts/sorority friends that gave me great reviews/advice as well. Thought I wasn’t gonna rush but they changed my mind

Wow, some of these comments are clearly written by people who have never been to or seen phi tau. I’ve got many friends in this fraternity, and they are a great group of guys. Mixing with middle sororities (same tier with Lambda, Pike, Pikapp), these guys obviously aren’t as elitist or wild as C4 frats, but they’re incredibly genuine and close-knit and throw banger mixers and multi-ways (famously tauloween, Mardi-Tau, paint party). They’re a diverse group for a fraternity which you don’t always get, but more importantly, everyone in phi tau is just here for a good time. Whether at their parties, their notorious “tau Tuesdays,” or just in their everyday experiences around the house.

They don’t really care about rank or social status. Mainly keep to themselves. Really nice kids. Primarily mix with AXO. Definitely below Lambda/Pike/Pikapp but still a great option for kids who want a great brotherhood and the occasional party.
