I did not feel confident enough to rush but am so glad I took the plunge. There are so many amazing, fun girls in Axid. When I'm around them, I see so much beauty, inside and out. They are so genuine and kind I am sure they would have accepted me and seen me as a human being when I didn't look my best and felt like a monster. Everyone has their story, so let's get past generalizations and judgments. We're all people trying to make the most of our Cornell experience. I'm proud to be a Xi.

I'm a newly initiated sister of Axid so keep that in mind when reading this review. Maybe it's not customary or welcomed to write reviews of your own house (although I'm sure other houses do anonymously) but I feel the need to acknowledge my sorority. I rushed as a sophomore because a) I wasn't sure if Greek Life was for me. I had many misconceptions and held generalizations about it being superficial and b) about a month before rush, I went on a medication that made me gain weight and break out
