transfer: sorority rush
by: TransferI'm a 21 year old second semester freshman (took time off between hs and college) with a 3.7 GPA. I was wondering how competitive rush is, and will I be likely to get a bid from my top choice because of my age?

Depends on what your top choice is. If it's any of the top 4 you don't have a chance unless you know someone who is really pulling for you. Not much of a chance with the top 8 but you could definitely get a bid from pi phi or gamma phi, they'll take anyone right now.

"Depends" you are completely wrong. I rushed my sorority when I was 21 and am exactly where I am supposed to be. Your age doesn't matter one bit. This is seriously to most rude thing I have ever heard on this site and against the whole philosophy behind rush.
