LOL getting a "top" sorority here as a junior is very hard, and mostly unheard of. Some nationals don't even allow them to bid juniors (I know ZTA doesn't). If I were you, I'd keep an open mind going into recruitment. Most sororities want girls that will be there for all 4 years, so you will probably get the less desirable options. THAT BEING SAID, I'm in one of the "less desirable options" and I love my sisters so much!! At first I was upset about my bid, but it's now obvious why I'm in the sorority I am. Trust the system!!

Transferring as a Junior and wanting to go greek is rough for both girls and guys but with girls some sororities are definitely more open to older new members, they just might not be your top choice. Some real advice would be to reach out through your club at cofc, if you have the opportunity to stay there, they have some great sororities there that I'm sure people in your club are a part of! But ultimately do not let this discourage you if it is something you think you would really enjoy

These people clearly haven't been through recruitment. There are two lists of PNMs, a primary list (freshmen) and a secondary list (upperclassmen). Based on how many girls are rushing, your pledge class is required to have a certain amount of both. It was like 23 minimum for the secondary list for every sorority this year so you shouldn't have an issue. That's a ton of bids for upperclassmen. In my sorority we don't even care what the age is just how cool they are/ how well they fit

Is chi omega probably out too then? I'm president of a volunteer club at CofC right now. That's the only reason I didn't rush this year. Will me being president help at all? I'm not obsessed with it being top tier I just care about the chapters philanthropy because volunteering is literally my life.
