also is it stupid to transfer as a junior? like would it be pointless?

It depends on tri delta's policies-- I'm in a different sorority and our governing documents say that a chapter/ transfer has the choice to affiliate a transfer after they've been on a new campus for a semester, but neither is obligated to do so and they'll still remain a member and gain alumna status at graduation. Ask someone who currently knows the rules or has access to that sort of thing to find out
