13 frats suspended rush at usc

They're just looking for reasons to shut these fraternities down, everyone is out to get Greek life nowadays and it's a damn shame. Greek life at USC is headed in a terrible direction. I know the event I attended with one of the accused fraternities had no rushees there so I don't understand the problem

Just follow the no alcohol policy during rush events. Be the stand up guys your organizations claim to be and none of this happens. I don't get the immaturity...time to grow up and act like you are responsible. Come on...I don't get why you are shocked. No one is out to get you if you do what you are supposed to do. Don't point the finger unless you are willing to point it at yourselves. This should be a wake up call.

You're right man all fraternities should just stop drinking and having fun together.
No one was being immature or even broke any rules they just had fun parties and the school assumed rushees were involved but I went to two parties that day and both of them made damn clear and sure no rushees were involved (I'm a girl not a rushee).
It was WAY out of line by the school.

What does that entail? Guys doing rush like girls? Literally not talking to any other guys or going to parties for fear you might accidentally brush shoulders with a freshman not in a fraternity yet and get kicked off campus?

They all followed the rules and they're shocked despite making a massive effort to exclude any unfamiliar face from their party and still got unfairly punished before even having the rational explained to them of what they did. THAT is unreasonable and unfair.

well you obviously know nothing. The Greek Conduct board has people from multiple organizations including sororities and NPHC and MGB orgs. Girls hear fraternity cases
