why did pi phi leave campus to begin with?

Some of my sisters are saying they have been on campus before and are "recolonizing". Why did they leave to start with? Nothing against them, I'm just curious

They were having a hard time recruiting back in the 80s and it wasn't worth having a chapter at the time.

They couldn't keep their numbers up and so they decided in the 80s to give up their charter.

they were not a good sorority when they were here before. same with theta and dg... without houses and the overall numbers we have in GL these days they bad were very bad and didn't get the decent leftovers that sororities do today.
