It depends on the house, but generally a legacy that comes to pref will be put at the top of the bid day list (first few names, so the other house you are invited to for bid day would have to put you at the very top of their list in order for you to get a bid at that particular house). I would say 95% of the time you are going to go to the house where you are a legacy. But it depends on the situation

depends on the house. most houses will make sure they drop you BEFORE pref if they do not want you as a sister due to the fact that you will be moved to the top of their bid list for pref. so if you are invited back to your legacy house for pref, it is most likely true that they really want you as a sister.

agreed. most houses will drop you earlier rather than bring you through to pref and then drop you. if you make it through to pref and pick the non-leg house, and the non-leg house really wants you too, sometimes that can be the difference maker.
