grades

Since different states have different grading scales and what not (like my gpa is much higher in SC than my home state), do the sororities put all gpas on the same USC scale for recruitment?
Just wondering since it's not really fair for someone from one state to "look" smarter than someone else just bc their state has a way higher point system for say AP or considers an A 87-10 instead of 90-100.

interesting question, i don't know the answer. all that stuff is crazy because every school, district, state, etc. does things so differently. i have a friend from california who had like a 3.3 gpa in high school - but took 6 ap courses, and her county only gave .5 extra for aps, nothing more, and ONLY for aps, not gifted programs, etc. - meanwhile, i know a girl from tennessee who had like a 5.2 (!!!!) in hs, and was pretty dumb. makes you wonder...

they're gonna get your transcript but honestly as long as the number you put down is accurate, do what makes you look best on paper. Cuts are made before they even see you (alot has to do with gpa in most sororities)
