facebook page

by: PNM

I was wondering if the Facebook page would hurt my chances of getting into a sorority. I want to reply and answer someone's question on there but not at the risk of hurting my chances at rush. Personally I am going in open minded and sending letters of recommendation to 3 sororities because people have offered to write them for me. Is that going to hurt my chances after the Facebook drama?

I don't think it would be a problem. As long as you don't talk about your opinion of certain chapters, you'll be fine. What's the point of being in a group if you're afraid to talk?

If you write too much stuff on the page, your name will be noted and you'll be screwed. That doesn't mean you shouldn't write on their to talk about dorms, classes other usc stuff…just don't be one of the people who writes on it everyday or about recruitment or partying

yeah... don't post on facebook groups. we have girls that join those groups just to weed out the weirdos. Social media is a big deal for sorority women. Those who do not use it wisely.. you'll be cut from rush SO fast you won't be able to even remember our songs.

No. Just don't mention drinking or partying and you'll be fine. Be wise of what you post on your fb as well. We look at that.
