fraternities

While you guys bicker about Fraternity and sorority membership and how old your fraternity or sorority is...you realize that DKE was the first fraternity founded in 1852. The first Social fraternity at South Carolina was the delta chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon or referred to as Deke. Surprised they have not re-chartered since the Civil War.

dke was here in the last 20 years I think but didn't do well. wish they were here and good here bc they are the best nationally. My dad and uncle were both dekes at top houses, oh well :(

I'm not sure what makes DKE the top nationally. They have a very solid alumni base, but a lot of other fraternities have more good chapters than DKE has total chapters.
