Snap bid question

My suitemate dropped out of rush yesterday before pref and just got a snap bid. Has this happened to anyone else? How does this work?

Are you for real? All pnm's have had the process explained to them and if you have questions you can ask your pi chi. OR you can just ask your suitemate. OR you're not a real pnm and just an internet pretender, because Wtf.

That’s a little rude, I hope you aren’t in my sorority. I was asking a sincere q bc i legit don’t understand how you can get dropped by a sorority and then they turn around next week and give you a bid

The houses that had to snap are sensitive and I guess we can all see why they had to snap bid. Even a top house.

They only snapped if they didn’t make quota for either freshmen or upperclassmen or both. Chapters that were actually successful in recruitment were not eligible to snap bid. Tri Delta, Gamma Phi Beta, and Alpha Gamma Delta gave out the most snap bids by far.
