what sorority would be best for me?

by:

I know that I should give every sorority an equal chance but I'm worried that every sorority will seem fake or the same during rush in order to get the best pledge class. I'm southern, smart, sporty, I love to have fun, I'm very outgoing, I'm social and talkative, I'm an education major, I love to laugh and go out and I occasionally like to party. Also what could I do to help me get into a good sorority?

Seriously, just be yourself! You will find the place that is right for you as long as you present yourself well in each of the houses (dress and speak like a lady), can hold a conversation, and show genuine interest in the sisterhoods. Make an effort on your hair and makeup (even though it'll be so hot in August it may not matter), invest in some nice clothes (doesn't have to be Lilly by any means--follow your own style), and work your assets into the conversation if you can do it subtly and not awkwardly. And remember smiling is the quickest way to win someone over. Just present yourself in the best possible light, smile smile smile, and you have nothing to worry about. :)

You'll find that the "top" 6 that everyone keeps saying are the fakest during rush.

Just completely false. Don't tear them down just because they're doing well. I found XO and AXO to be the two most welcoming houses I went into all throughout recruitment last year--felt even more comfortable there than in the house I ended up choosing which is considered a middle tier (though I love it now)
