As awful as it sounds, what chance do they have of retaining strength? No pledgeship is a weakness and I might be wrong, but what chance do they have of staying as powerful as they are?

I doubt they're going anywhere anytime soon. The sec chapters are too strong

Sig Ep was a much better national Fraternity before Balanced Man. TKE was a better fraternity before they did this 30-40 years ago. SAE was until this change probably the top fraternity in the nation neck and neck with Sigma Chi. I'm suspecting they will suffer repercussions for letting things get so out of control that they had to do this.

Possibly further down the road, it depends now it's handled. But I don't think it's going to change anything in the near future
