Thoughts after sisterhood

It's so hard! My top dropped me so now down to 3rd & 4th and don't even know if they will pref me?? I think the process is LONG & stacks the deck in favor of the Srats - Big Time!
Did you all like it? So much seemed fake & staged. One sister told me they had been working the week before & its only like this for Rush. Bait & switch?? Does anyone else feel this way?

This happened to me at adpi but I don’t know if it will happen since I’ve heard some sororities bid promise and then cut you before pref

Yes. When they get you off to yourself, make promises (usually not kept) to get you to commit. At least that is what happened to me at 2 houses.

First of all you missed the point second of all what did they say specifically??? Think about that REAAAALLLY hard - you’re thinking bid promising but a very v v v.v loose interpretation of it. if this was something that went to the court of law, would the judge jury or arbitrator rule in your favor?
They want you to want to be in the house - and they want you to feel welcomed and/or that you are wanted back.
Did they say, “we are going to give you a formal bid and you will receive a bid card and you will be going through the PNM process as an ABC and then become a sister of ABC”, or did they say “see you on vid day!” Or “we’d love you to be an ABC”. I realize this does t make much difference to you but be careful making claims that are not accurate because of technicalities.
Like I said - chapters want you to want them and think you are welcomed, they are careful about what they say and some will take it all the way to the line or what is permissible and what isn’t. I’m sure it sucks to be let down after hearing things like that, but don’t be emotional about it and use it as a learning lesson.

I feel the same way, I thought zeta was my favorite until sisterhood but now my top 2 are axo and axid which seems weird but i like different things about them

Did anyone else get "hotboxed?" I mean I thought this was suppose to be some system & I am getting IF we were to give you a bid, you would except it, right? right? Seriously?? Anyone else had this? I said yes, but no way would i take a bid there. Especially after this. Are they allowed to do this? I still can't believe they ask us to do all this crap for a week! Supply and demand I guess, but over the top if you ask me!
