Living in the house?

by: PNM question

What’s the deal with living in the house? Why do I get the vibe that it’s not desirable to live there? Is there some kind of requirement or what.

The house can definitely be fun to live in if you’re friends w all the girls! Side not: you aren’t going to be besties with your whole PC, it’s just not possible! A lot of people don’t like it because they want to live in their own room, have their own space, and don’t have to follow all the rules with living in the house. I lived in my house and I had an amazing experience but sometimes I do wish I could’ve just had my own apartment! If there aren’t a lot of girls that sign up being in the house, they’ll end up pulling names and they HAVE to live in the house.

The hoes in zeta don’t wanna live there because they aren’t allowed to have guys in their room so it’s a pain to sneak them in and out

So do most girls live off campus? I heard that’s where the real action happens.

Living in the house is so much fun for most people, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're not already close with your pc when you sign up to live there. I lived in the house to make more friends in my sorority because most of my friends from freshman year were from other places, and it was actually miserable. Super cliquey and exclusive. I may not have put myself out there as much as I should have, but I dreaded coming home and by the end of the year I mostly stayed in my room to stay away from the other girls. I would say though that the girls who lived in the house have gotten more out the sorority than the girls who didn't for the most part, it just really depends on your personality. Would not recommend to introverts

Serious question but why would an introvert join a sorority??

It has its pros and cons. Super convenient and fun to meet more girls in your PC, but you won’t have much space to yourself / much alone time. Also won’t have a kitchen so if you don’t like your houses food you’re out of luck
