pnms if ur gonna read rankings, this is it

let me start by prefacing with the fact that “ranks” and “tiers” should NOT be a priority in your recruitment experience! every sorority has it’s good/bad sides and there’s always something negative to say ab everything bc girls are jealous and catty. buttttt if you’re really that curious here are the rankings i believe is best fit & why:

1: tri delta- the girls are generally very pretty/sweet and typically more southern but there are some northern girls! i’m putting tri delt as #1 because they frequently go out, have a good/classy reputation, and are well liked!

2: adpi- such a good house! every girl i’ve ever met in adpi is so so sweet and friendly. they’re VERY SOUTHERN but i have met a few northerners in adpi! these girls are typically “good girls” but they do know how to have fun!

3: zeta- the girls in this sorority are also very nice but can be very intimidating! obviously every sorority has a few rotten eggs, but i’d say 90% of the girls in zeta are nice but prefer to stick with girls in their sorority. zeta is almost entirely northern, usually NJ/NY.

4: axo- girls in axo are usually the “insta baddie” type girls. they have a mix of northern/southern but i’ve personally seen more northern girls. axo girls are huge party & often go to the same frats. i wouldn’t describe anyone as “mean” necessarily, but they’re pretty intimidating and it might be hard to have a conversation with them.

5: kappa delta- id describe KD as upper mid tier. the girls in here are veryyyy southern & very cliquey (a lot of them are from the same friend groups in high school, typically from south carolina). they’re sweet girls but you would have to be the one initiating the friendship if you get what i mean.

6: chi o- the girls in chi o are so nice & very academically oriented. they pride themselves on having the highest GPA on campus so if ur grades aren’t good you may get dropped by them as a default. chi o has a huge variety of girls with different interests & have a pretty good rep.

7: kkg- kappa girls are nice but pretty average in terms of personality. they’re trying to ‘re brand’ themselves by mainly recruiting tall/skinny/pretty girls from what i can tell by their recent PC.

8/9: dz- the girls in DZ are some of the nicest you’ll ever meet. super easy to talk to and again, such a variety of girls!! i honestly can’t think of any downsides to DZ besides the fact that they aren’t rly as known as some of the other sororities. interchangeable with phi mu imo.

8/9: phi mu- as before, interchangeable with DZ. i’ve never met a mean girl in phi mu & they have a variety of girls from different backgrounds/interests. they’re mostly known for their philanthropy and a ton of phi mus are into dance marathon.

10: axid- hot take, the girls in axid are GREAT but their reputation is still pretty low because of how new they are. they’ve changed their philanthropy a few times which is iffy but the girls are cool.

11: pi phi- another new sorority on campus, the girls are a little on the quieter side but nice. they are losing their house, which may be something to take into consideration if you’re a PNM.

12: agd- while the girls in here may be on the “quirkier” side, they’re huge sweethearts. most of the girls in agd are very academically oriented, but there are a decent amount that regularly go out!!

13: gphi- these girls are on the quieter side, but they’re all nice. low rank bc they aren’t conventionally attractive :/
