What does everyone mean when they say tri delt has fallen fast?

It means that whoever is saying this is obsessed with a superficial tier system and believes that Tri-Delta is "falling" in the rankings based on a diminishing reputation.

However this is solely based on opinion (as all reputations are, and mostly of outsiders) and completely ridiculous. There are 11 great sororities on this campus, if you're looking to join one you have to pick the one that's best for you, not pick based on what's in the "best tier."

the consensus is that DDD is not as desirable as they used to be. They even had to give out snap bids last year to fill quota. Their last couple of pledge classes haven't been that good either. They can probably be classified as mid tier now.

it means people are being snotty - tridelt is an amazing group of girls and one of, if not THE best sorority on campus!!

yeah an amazing group that’ll tear everyone else down around them just so other people know theyre top… axo and zta do this too… top tier essentially just means theyre full of themselves… there i said it.
