sororities

Are there any sororities that aren't super southern? I'm from New York and I want to rush but I don't know which sorority would be right for me

Keep an open mind. It's a mutual selection process, and you may mesh well with the girls in the "southern houses". You should choose a house based on where you feel most comfortable and where you feel like you can be yourself.

All houses take Yankees these days, even adpi sometimes. Dz is a great sorority and they have a ton, zta too!

You are completely fine. You will fit wherever you belong. I am an ADpi, which people tend to say is an upper tier sorority on campus -- i only say that to reassure you that being northern doesn't mean you won't get in a good sorority-- and I am from way up north as well. If you are right for the sorority, you will get in. Just be yourself and trust the system!

pretty sure this has been asked about a billion times but yes all the sororities have northern girls. maybe some like adpi and kd are more southern but as long as you have decent grades and are relatively sane/can hold a 5 minute conversation you will get a bid
