Sorority Ranking Based On $$$$

by:

Interesting ranking based on $$$$ raised for philanthropy since sororities make such a big deal about giving back that they have an entire recruitment round dedicated to it:

Below shows total money raised
Source: Greek Report & Academic Data Spring 2021 (online on UofSC website)

For overall $ raised PLUS average per member analysis:

Ok overall good but the way some of those figures are calculated is a little wonky so don’t trust it 100%

But, even if the figures are a "little wonky" with how they are reported, there are trend lines here that are indisputable. Even if you say "plus or minus 10%" this does show a picture of how much philanthropy and giving back matters to some sororities and not to others.

true but it's not the 10% variance, its like the top and bottom stuff that's a little off because of it, right? like doesn't the money from marathon technically count towards pm? but yeah, this is definitely good info

^^exactly. phi mu’s thing is always over exaggerated bc dance marathon is their whole service thing but all sororities participate in it which makes it go higher

Some of this is actually pretty opposite from what I what I was thinking. Is this true? I mean, less than 10 hours service per member-is that for semester or year? Is the $ for semester or year. I don’t get this. plz explain.

This ranking should have been done for the entire 2020-21 school year, not just spring semester because that doesn’t give complete rankings

Just judging on hours, it’s easy to see which sororities are filled with girls who want to give back and which are in them only for the letters and the parties. Not making any judgement, just saying hang with the people who most reflect you. If you’re in it for only the party, this list helps.

How did AXO only have an avg of 2 min per member? They did a little better in the $ raised per member.
