Honestly with frats a lot of them are very different so it’s hard to rank.Very hard to compare SAE or SNU to Pi Kap or Chi Psi because they are just so different, but this is generally how it goes (at least for the “top tier” in ones)

The normal beta smear campaign around recruitment once again didn’t work. They did just fine and got over 30 guys. When will y’all just get over it?

I went to Bama (transferred) and the house/band parties get old after freshman year. Most kids end up going to the bars once their older and Five points is hands down better than the bars in Tuscaloosa. Get a decent fake and you should be good.

usc isn’t all about frats and it’s definitely not about frat and/or house parties. there’s more to do here ie dt and 5pts. do you even go here?
That said, Greek life isn’t as strong here and a lot of it is bc beta narced on all the good frats that had been here for 100+ years and they got booted for drinking and in most cases not much more.
Stay away from beta, enjoy Greek life for what it is (which, if you stay away from beta is stlll decent), but if you limit yourself to “frats” you aren’t getting what’s so great about usc.

^^^ this is all true and the only person dv ing it is beta.
Also someone posted that the loser (“Honestly” above) who couldn’t even get into uga and thinks college & college social life is all about frat house parties for four years was probably from way outside the beltway nova aka loudoun county and has “DC” in their bio, and clearly it was spot on and that person paid to delete the comment. You’re a huge loser and the fact that the schools you applied to were bama, uga, and usc and you only care about assaulting women in your frat house and can’t see what an incredible place usc is is very concerning. I don’t use this word much but you’re a total tool... seems appropriate here

Old Row is unranked since they have a different set of standards which they are ranked on like history, alumni, influence, prestige etc.

also there's no such thing as "old row" here, but if there were chi psi, pi kapp, and ks would all be a part of it because they are top houses and have been here as long as the ones you referred to as "old row". even if they are all full of yankees.

^None of those fraternities you listed have influence in South Carolina. Phi Kapp is older than both Kappa Sig and Pi Kapp. Basically, the three I mentioned will always be ranked top regardless of parties, looks or any of the stuff the rest are judged on since they have pull in this state. Technically they're called the Southern Sigmas but other SEC schools just say Old Row.

Ok, if you mean top three, that’s one thing and I wouldnt argue, the ones you labeled “old row” are definitely the top 3.
But there still isn’t an “old row” at usc, you just made it up.

not saying sae, sae, ka aren’t the top (maybe ka would be a little further down w pi kapp and kappa sig, but besides the point), but there isn’t anything called “Old Row” at usc. Stop trying to make up traditions, even if beta has gutted fraternity life and we need to hold onto what is left of our traditional fraternity culture here. Or, if you’re going to use that term, include the other fraternities that have been here for 100 years (not ones that technically STARTED a long time ago but couldn’t last for more than 10 years at a time ahem ahem)... chi psi, pi kapp, kappa sig. they are all that’s left anymore and all are essentially top tier ish so it works.
I think dtd has been here for a while too but just like lambda, ato, sig ep, not quite as long as the top tier ones and they also all suck now (dtd and lambda always have and the other two are just terrible now so doesn’t matte that they used to be good), so they don’t need to be included.
