Round 2 cuts.

Are the sororities going to make a lot of big cuts after round 2? I’m going to cry if i get cut from houses that i had good convos with.

when i rushed i only got dropped by one house after round 1 and got dropped by four after round 2. this is the worst round of cuts bc i got dropped by some of my favorites but you'll be fine

this is the same person who originally posted this comment, i got dropped by one of the houses i put down for pref but i was still left w two houses that i liked and ended up in my overall favorite house from all of recruitment on bid day so you will be fine i promise

i also saw a lot of the new pledge classes from some of the houses i got dropped from and realized i would not have vibed w them at all so a lot of the time the actives know better than you do if you belong there. i know my chapter has dropped a lot of super involved nice and qualified girls bc we think they would be happier somewhere else and wouldn't fit the vibe of our chapter

you go from 10 houses to 6 to 2, so they do have to make cuts per panhell rules and so everyone gets their share of girls. Be careful with your ranking. Most get at least 2 of their top for Round 3

The top tier houses are planning to cut between 600-700 girls after round 2 because they can afford to due to their higher retention rates

No. They cannot cut that many as they’ve probably already cut ~200. There are only 1400 going through rush. Doesn’t make sense.

They already cut a couple hundred and currently have about 900 so they want to get to around 200-300 girls for round 3. That means they’re gonna cut 600-700 girls.

The more selective sororities will be making big cuts this weekend and more big cuts after round 3 so be prepared
