Pretty much The same

by: Honestly

Every post is debating between Chi o, phi mu, Dz, and kappa but let’s be honest they are all pretty much the same. Who is “better” literally differs depending on who your talking to based off who they know in the chapter. They’re all on the same level as each other and have been for 5+ years. Enough of the 800 posts debating between them

Idk what you are taking about, everyone knows xo is top tier and those others are not. I mean, they are good and all, but there’s a huge gap between them and chio/top tier

What makes xo top tier or middle tier? I hear people say theyre def middle tier so why do some people say they’re top? I don’t see any other sorority’s tier debated as much as this one is

They are middle tier but where in middle tier they are is debatable. Some say higher some say lower lately (I think higher). There is a huge gap though between top and middle, so that part where they are middle tier isn’t debatable.

Finally someone said it. If you are deciding between these four just pick your personal favorite

Seems like they are all great to me so far but i could see how they are below the top tier - that said I’d be super happy to be in any of the, top tier doesn’t really matter to me

Actually, dz and xo (and kappa) have been here forever. phi mu has been here longer than the brand new sororities, but they are still “new”. even gamma phi is still relatively new. Just saying.

basically, if you don’t own the house you live in (or don’t have a house), you’re our version of “new row” (sorority or fraternity). if you know anything about bamas new/old it doesn’t necessarily mean better or worse (there are trends, though). the last group to move into a house they owned was gamma phi, although their house was originally built for alpha phi alpha (literally true story), but gphi bought it. Everyone since rents - this is literally true so don’t debate it. hopefully some of these will eventually buy or build their own houses.

Actually my older sister was in a sorority when the house was built and said it was 100% built for an NPHC (black) fraternity but almost immediately they got in big trouble and the university allowed gphi, who was chartering, to come in after the house had already been built, and purchase it (could you imagine if that happened today OMG)... so, I get what you’re trying to say but you are factually wrong. However, gphi is the OGs of expanding sorority life at usc after it hadn’t been since the 1980s, so major props to them and it 100% is not the same as all the other sororities (and all the stupid new fraternities, my brother was in a fraternity that beta got kicked off campus that owns a house still and had been top tier), so totally not a diss to gphi. Just facts. When gphi was chartering, the house had already been built but they quickly leased and or bought it but bought it really fast (vs what you see now with all the new ones who don’t own). My sister is in her mid 30’s (don’t ask, parents are crazy) and had a friend who was in the uga chapter that came up to help recruit. Gphi didn’t build their house but in all other aspects, they own it and have (almost but not 100%) since it was built.
