Reason for ranks

honestly a lot of it is just historical. top houses like adpi and ddd have been here since sororities started at usc. because of this, they have a lot of alumni money coming in and they get southern girls bc they go to their legacy house. a lot of the rest of it is looks based sadly even though some people won't admit it. involvement and gpa play a role in it, but definitely not as big as the two factors i mentioned before. if they played a bigger role, top sororities like kd and zta would be ranked nowhere near where they actually are. it's kinda sad how superficial the rankings on this site are :/

ranks are always going to exist because girls are literally born wanting to be popular/constantly tearing each other down. At the end of the day if your sorority is top tier it will only benefit you for 10 seconds as an initial attention grabber but if you don't live up to the "hype" it won't get you anywhere especially out of college when being in a sorority is insignificant to life.
