yeah, lambda was in there since the gv opened (and they blew the whole time despite all the historic fraternities otherwise fluctuating and still the worst), so nope, not the same. True story, about 10 years ago, when beta started at usc they were the ones who destroyed all of Greek life.

You also know Beta was at USC in the 80s and 90s right....how do you think they have alumni that pay for the GV house. There’s literally a picture of their homecoming float from the 90s in the Russell house and they had a house in McBryde when that was the fraternity housing. So no you can hate all you want but your 4 year old frat still sucks

Literally not true. Beta was OFFICIALLY around when frats first started before the civil war, died out when the war happened, and came back OFFICIALLY in the 2010s. Not the history that (very few now, sadly, bc of beta actually) some frats have here.

The house is 1000000% not owned by beta. All the houses are still owned by the original nationals that opened the houses in the early 2000’s. None have transferred ownership except maybe the aphia to gamma phi (bc aphia never ended up living there). Beta is paying rent to lxa (who was a terrible excuse for a fraternity their whole existence here at usc so I’m not lxa).

Don’t make up a narrative bc you think no one can call it out.

Sweetheart no ones said they own the house so calm down. But you do realize it takes thousands of dollars to rent and renovate the house. And who pays that? The alumni housing board which is made up of 80s and 90s betas. Do you want their numbers will it help you not be so butt hurt about your new frat Fiji? Sorry y’all never even had a shot at your own house. Jesus just give it up

They were narcs for Jared holt and 99% the reason why there are now only like 3 frats that have been at usc longer than 15 years (Jared Holt is the other 1%).

They almost singlehandedly DESTROYED Greek history at usc. Some of the frats they narced on are back-ish at usc, but completely gutted and jokes of what they once were (still not as much of a joke as beta, though). Some will never be back.

Everyone who knows the history hates beta, plenty who don’t know the history still hate beta. Beta is on this site more than all the sororities combined.
