I had my #1 and dead last houses for pref day, and I got #11. Bid day was sad for me because I got pity without even looking for it. People tried to make me feel better by telling me the bottom tiers can pull from other house to make quota because so few have them as #1, but I don't care about that. I heard be proud you're not a quitter or you can make the difference. Well the quitters and suiciders get to do spring rush, COB and all that stuff. Do I really have to give it a try with the others who wouldn't even wear their t-shirts Monday? Do I have to pay higher semester fees because of the low numbers of girls?
I thought the ranking was just overdone in the south, but now even the Cornell admin is coming down hard on a ranking site. I would rather be a GDI and make my own way. I am tired of the baseless judging.

and girls who drop out of their house don't get to do Spring or COBing or anything for a year. By the sound of it, you resent your house for giving you a bid, so I sincerely doubt you'll be an asset to your house. Sounds like you might as well drop and do the girls who aren't sitting there worrying about Greekrank a favor.

Or, you could change your attitude. If more than one person tells you something, you might consider listening. Since you can't do COB anyway, go over to your house with a big smile on your face and start meeting people. It's really presumptuous on your part to think you're above everyone else in the house. You need to remember that this is the only house that wanted you. So make the best of it. Make it a house to be proud of and to be reckoned with. Sometimes all it takes is one girl who is an outstanding girl to be an example for the rest of the house. Be that girl!

Are you really going to let some stupid tier system dictate your decision. The tiers mean absolutely nothing. Make your own decisions and don't be a follower. It's not fair to those girls who genuinely love their sorority that you disrespect them because of something other people have said about them on the Internet. You wouldnt have titled this "lower tier" if you weren't upset by the fact you didn't get a "top" sorority. To the girls who try and love their sorority, their house is top in their eyes and those are the only eyes that matter.

have the feeling the same girl or two keeps posting these. Sorry you're so butthurt and think you are better than whatever sorority gave you a bid - I think at this point you owe it to them to drop. Good luck next year (HA yeah right...)
