don't trust the dirty rush

I was dirty rushed last year by several of the "top tier" sororities here. I had my heart set one of the middle tier(i guess could be considered top, in the "top six") sororities from the first day of rush. I wont say which, but one of these dirty rushing sororities practically begged for me to join, and I started liking them more because I thought they genuinely really wanted me in their sisterhood. At this house during pref round I mentioned I was having a rough time because I was in love with two sororities. My girl pref round basically told me that I was in and she was so excited to have me as a sister, I decided to chose them over my original favorite because I thought I would be happier in a house that "wanted" me more. little did i know they were fake because I found out on bid day that they had dropped me after pref round. All i am saying to the pnms is to really be CAREFUL when choosing a house. Go with your gut. If you love a house that may not be one of the "top" or most popular houses, go with it. because you will be happier in the end. don't trust any sororities that beg for you to join, because they might be being fake about it and not really want you.
