is it better to be in a bottom tier sorority or none at all in terms of how people perceive you?

On how much you care about how others "perceive" you. If you want to be in the Greek system and have a sisterhood, you can def have that in a "lower tier" house. If people are going to judge you by the letters you wear, regardless of tiers, do you really want to be around those people? I'm in a lower tier house and at first it kinda bothered me but I've found true sisterhood and having friends in many of the houses, it's all kind of the same experience and is what you make it.

depends on if you like to be a top or a bottom. i’m more of a bottom myself

as a senior in a bottom sorority, over four years I've learned it literally does not make a difference at all lol
