Yeah, it's just risky because there's no guarantee you'll be offered one. Most houses (even the higher tiers) can give out snap bids if there's empty spots in their new member class BUT it can depend on who you know/dumb luck if you get one or not. I wouldn't count on getting a snap bid but it can happen.
