by: CuriousIn general, are the most cuts done after round 1? If 1300 PNMs are visiting each house in round 1, about how many girls is each sorority able to ask back for round 2? I know there will be PNMs dropping houses too but I’m curious how many girls will the average sorority typically be dropping before this round.

Depends. No one will know until after first round when Panhellenic gives each chapter their numbers. Each sorority will be required to cut a different number based on how they have historically done during recruitment. Look up RFM (Release Figures Methodology) on the NPC website.

Yep. This is it. Stronger, more popular houses have to release more early on but cuts can come after any round. Be ready for them, and be ready to look at the houses that want you back. Even if you tried to dump them, they see something in you so give them another chance.

my sister told me ADPi has the top 200 girls they want already chosen. I was really excited to get a chance in every house, but after hearing that I'm worried it's not even worth my time. It sucks that a house that seems so sweet and accepting is just a front. Have any of yall heard the same things???

adpi already has the girls they want picked out so i'd recommend dropping them today

Unless your sister is an adpi and knows that firsthand I’d take that with s grain of salt. Any sorority that makes a list like this without being open to change after they meet all the girls is making a dumb decision.

Very strong houses can and do typically have their targeted pref list even prior to recruitment starting. They know that they have high return rates and that they have a good track record of getting who they want, so they're able to do this. These houses are top notch and know how to rush and make everyone feel loved and wanted. They're good at what they do! Doesn't mean you don't have a chance, but def means your chances might be slim compared with other houses.
