it is so comical how threatened southern people are of having northern people in their school or god forbid in their sorority/fraternity. everyone should be happy that we go to such a diverse school that people all across the US want to go to. there are both northern & southern girls in every single sorority and that is a fact. ADPi, DDD, and KD have been top for a while even before USC started attracting so many OOS students which is why southern girls tend to lean towards a predominantly "southern sorority" like them. don't be fooled PNMs, AXO and ZTA are also amazing chapters and ADPi, DDD, and KD are very obviously threatened by the surge of girls wanting a bid from those two. its no secret that these 5 sororities are the best of the best here at USC because of their selectivity and amazing sisters. anyone would be lucky to get a bid from any of the top 5. "relevancy, admiration, and popularity" are all in the eyes of the beholder, which is why no one can ever agree on the order of which these 5 rank individually between each other. some girls prefer ADPi or DDD while other girls prefer AXO or ZTA. at the end of the day all 5 listed here are amazing!!!

I don’t get why so many people have an issue with some northern girls preferring the northern sororities. Any of these top 5 sororities are without a doubt the best on campus and aside from that it just comes down to personal preference of what girls you find you get along with the most. I am in one of these 5 myself and have friends in all the other sororities mentioned. They’re all great and it’s really not that deep.
