junior rush out of the question?

Is it just not even worth it to rush as a junior? I’ve heard they give upperclassmen a really hard time, but my mom had cancer the past few years (cancer free 3 months last Tuesday!!) so I didn’t really have the money/time to be in a sorority until now even tho I have always wanted to be in one..

Congrats that your mom is doing better! It’s not out of the question. Each chapter has an upperclassman quota so it’s totally doable. Making friends with girls in sororities beforehand helps too.

yes! try for cob or spring rush and def let any girls you know in sororities you're interested! so happy for your mom!

Hey girlie! Congrats on your mom being cancer free! My mom also had cancer and is also cancer free! I rushed as a junior back in 2015 during formal recruitment and for the most part I think I did fine! They girl above is correct though that they do have upperclassmen quotas so just go in with a very open mind! Good luck!
