If you don’t sign the form, you drop from recruitment. By not signing you are saying you don’t want any of those chapters. If you sign and list all the houses you pref, you are guaranteed a bid. If you only list one, you are considered suiciding. This means that the house you listed you would accept a bid from has to have listed you on their #1 list or enough girls on that list didn’t pick them bumping you up to that spot. If not you will be dropped from recruitment and are NOT eligible for a snap bid or to accept any bid until the following recruitment
Snap bids are rare and you can’t guarantee which chapters do spring recruitment so it is always better to sign the card, see who you get and give them a try for a few weeks. If you REALLY don’t like them after genuinely trying, drop before recruitment and try again next year.

You will not get a bid on bid day, and are released for recruitment. there is a very slim possibility of getting a snap bid/COB the day of, but it is very risky and can take a few weeks to happen (my friend got hers 2-3 weeks later). Unless you absolutely hate your houses this round, I strongly recommend sticking it out unless you have connections in a sorority that already dropped you that may help you get a COB.

Well I’ve been dropped from all houses except one so when (and if I Chet asked back by the one house) pref round happens and then I go sign the MRABA and I only list one house (because I only got asked back to one) is that still considered suiciding or not (because I’m “maximizing my options”)...I just don’t connect with this house or the girls. I honestly don’t really like their philanthropy either. It’s just not something I support personally and if I get a bid from them I know I’m probably gonna cry and probably drop because I just don’t like the house, I don’t connect with the girls and their philanthropy is not something I’m super passionate about...what should I do?

Suiciding is when you are invited back to 2 houses and say you will only accept a bid from one, so you would not be doing that. Wait until preference and see how you feel- I know girls who went into pref sure they would drop, had a good conversation, and are now happy in their sorority. If you still don't feel at home, you need to decide the next step from there, and ask why you want to join that sorority still. Unless you get a COB/snap bid (and at this point it is unlikely but not impossible as none of these houses will have seen you since round 1/2), this is the sorority you'll get a bid to. Is it fair to your bid day buddy, new sisters, potential big, and others that you begrudgingly accept your bid just to say a sorority gave you one? Spring rush is also an option, as is rushing again. Do what feels right, but at the end of the day, you decide how happy you'll be with your decision.

Ok so to answer your question, if they ask you to pref and you go and sign your mraba after, you are guaranteed that house since it’s the only one you have.
I get that you just faced a lot of rejection and it hurts. I encourage you to at least go to pref if you’re invited. This is blunt to say, but that house is the only one that has seen potential in you being one of their sisters. They want you. Instead of reflecting on those who didn’t, go to pref with an open mind and heart, truly try to get a sense of the values and sisterhood in that house, and truly consider them. And honestly, it doesn’t matter if you like their philanthropy or not. You’ll be participating in other philanthropic opportunities all year through Greek life and supporting other chapters.
At the end of the day there are 300 girls in each house. You’re bound to find friends. You just have to decide what’s more important. Being Greek or risking not at all? You can risk trying again next year, but nothing is guaranteed. And once you graduate it doesn’t really matter what letters you were, just that you had them.

If you suicide you actually can get a snap or COB and you don't have to wait a year. That's only if you turn down an actual bid or accept and then drop.
