Pi Phi won chapter of the year. What does that mean and is that a big deal?

Every year FSL gives out awards to various chapters for their accomplishments during the year. Some of these accomplishments can be reflected on the USC Fraternity and Sorority report each semester. To answer your question, Pi Phi willing chapter of the year is a reflection of how they have evolved since recolonization.

Basically they pulled up their grades, fundraising, membership, and involvement and the FSL office thought it was enough success to justify the award. Sometimes it's not about change but just who is doing a good job. I think it was a mix of changes and them just doing a good job. To me it means they're a better contender than some of the other "lower tier chapters" but to some people it doesn't matter at all. It's all up to you!
