does rushing with a low gpa from high school affect your chances of getting into a sorority?

Yes. Low grades and missing recs are the first cut. However, not all houses have the same GPA requirements, so you should still rush. Please know that if you do suffer cuts early on that is because of low grades rather than something personal. I wish you the best of luck. Focus on having fun meeting other girls!
