how intense is sorority rush
by: ??looking at the pages on here, on social media and just from talking to people I know who went there, other SEC school rushes seem...intense. Like, since greek life is so super important there (Alabama, ole miss, UF) the game is upped and girls with a stacked resume simply blend in with the other well rounded girls. Is that what it's like here?? I have great grades and involvement, pretty, good personality etc but will I just blend in with every other pnm with a good resume unless I have something special?

It may not be "intense" as say, Bama or Georgia, because we only have 13 houses instead of their 18. However, with the way rush is scheduled, we have one of the longest recruitment periods in the nation. Rush is basically a test of endurance when you get towards the end. Smile, keep up a good convo, get recs, and really "sell" yourself as a PNM. Tell the actives what you like to do, a fun fact about yourself, etc. Hell,wear a unique necklace or patterned skirt/shortalls/shorts to stand out. Maximize your options and keep an open mind because you'll never know what that might lead to. Best of luck girl!
